The last few years have been an emotional roller coaster of back to back frustrations, 6-8 hour back and forth boomerang trips across the state, stressed family relationships, a move from one end of Texas to the other and just endless stress and chaos. This year, my wife and I opted to stay home, find some peace and defuse. This marks the first year in the bulk of my career where I’m finally at a point where I don’t have to work on the holidays. And even though I’m on call, I really have very little responsibility I can’t defer to my team outside of a major emergency.

It was nice to finally have a little money to bless each other with this year so my wife and I made a short list of some things we have really wanted for a long time. I could never adequately explain the personal joy and peace I have right now.

I know it won’t last forever but I would regret it forever if I didn’t take a minute to pause, say thanks, share the love and write down how blessed I have been in the last 12 months. With the ebb and flow of life I know this could change in an instant which is why I think it is important to take a minute and document this lasting memory.

So from my family to yours, I would just like to wish you a very Merry Chrisman Christmas!
God bless! And may you find peace and prosperity in the coming year.
